Plot Summary: In 2028 Detroit, when Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop - is critically injured in the line of duty, the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer.

I wonder what the obsession is with remaking blockbuster movies from the past. Is Hollywood out of fresh ideas or are they just scared to take risks and release movies based on new concepts/ideas? Anyways, Below is the freshly released trailer for the new Robocop movie expected to hit cinemas in 2014.

 Watching it shows that they paid some homage to the earlier movies with the similarity in the costumes but then, it also looks like Robocop has more than one outfit here. 

Nothing really stands out in this trailer but then, the movie also has some heavy hitters attached to it (Micheal Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jay Baruchel, Gary Oldman). I personally hope there's more to the movie than is shown in this trailer though.
