Yeah, you probably know that The Avengers was an awesome movie but did you know that it was so awesome that they decided to create a spin-off TV series from the franchise?

Titled 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D', the series will follow a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who do they usual stuff they've been portrayed as doing the usual stuff you've seen them doing in all the other Marvel movies they've appeared in: tracking down the supernatural and extraordinary.

Surprisingly though, Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Greggson) who died in the Avengers movies is one of the main characters in this series, and those behind the show say that the story in the series is not a prequel but happens after the events from the movie. They probably have a good explanation for why he's alive and we'll find out when it airs later this year.

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary.
