Geekisms!

Now what we have here is a whole bunch of trailers from Fox Broadcasting's new TV series for the upcoming season and they all look pretty decent.

First up, here’s MacFarlane’s new live-action TV series Dads, which stars Giovanni Ribisi and Seth Green as video game execs whose fathers (Martin Mull and Peter Riegert) unexpectedly move in with them.

Up next is Schur and Dan Goor‘s Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Andy Samberg plays as a talented but hopelessly immature detective, and Andre Braugher the straitlaced new police captain who butts heads with him. Here’s the trailer:

Coming up  this fall is Enlisted, a comedy from Cougar Town co-creator Kevin Biegel about a wacky military family.

Us & Them, a remake of the UK show Gavin & Stacey, won’t air until mid-season, but we have the first look now. Alexis Bledel and Jason Ritter play a young couple dealing with a long-distance relationship.

Moving on to the dramas, Almost Human has some impressive pedigree thanks to Abrams and J.H. Wyman (Fringe). It’s a buddy cop series with a sci-fi twist — one cop (Karl Urban) is a human with robot parts, the other (Michael Ealy) is a robot with human tendencies.

Almost Human will air Mondays at 8 starting in late fall.

Finally, Rake stars Greg Kinnear as a House-esque lawyer. It’ll take over Glee‘s Thursdays 9 PM slot starting in mid-season.

They all look like pretty decent shows but time (and ratings) will tell if they're as good as their trailers make them look.

Of course you know I'll be keeping an eye on the geekiest ones of them all, Almost Human
